Estee Lauder Double Wear Maximum Coverage Foundation Review

I have to start off and say, YES, I am in love with this foundation! It is an amazing product and just perfect for me.

* You will get 30 ml (1 fluid ounce) of foundation which is pretty standard for liquid foundations. But what is great about this one is that it will last you so much longer than any other because you need the smallest amount for your whole face.

* Probably the most full coverage foundation you have ever seen.

* Estee Lauder claims that this foundation will last you up to 12 hours, but I disagree. This foundation will last longer than 12 hours. If you use a primer and set the foundation with a powder it will even last, wait for it... LONGER! I would say probably around 12-16 hours of full coverage! If you want to take this foundation off properly, you will need to use Makeup remover, cleanser and toner.

* Even if it is full coverage, it is so creamy and spreads beautifully. It is lightweight (like you won't believe) looks natural and feels like satin on the skin. You can use anything to apply this, a flat top brush, beauty blender or you hands.

* It gives a Matte, maybe satin finish to the skin if you are a bit more oily. Having said that, it is so important to moisturize when using this foundation. If you have dry skin, moisturize, moisturize and when you are done, moisturize again!

* This will not be the foundation for you if you are going to smack it on in a hurry. Because it is so full coverage it may look flat, you will need to contour (bronze at least), do blush and highlight.

* I have to mention the shade selection, it is really not that great. Only 6 shades!? It ranges from very light to medium tan shades.

* I would not recommend this for more mature skin seeing that it will settle in wrinkles and accentuate it.

* Estee Lauder Double wear Maximum coverage foundation for face and body retails for R450 at selected Edgars, Foschini and Red Square stores.
