Great DIY Face masks

Whats more fun than a pamper night or at home spa facial? Not to mention the tremendous benefits and how affordable it is... Here are a couple of the easiest DIY face masks for different skin types.



♥ For DRY skin: Banana Face mask

1 Egg yolk
2 Teaspoons of Olive oil
1 Banana

Mash the banana, add the egg yolk and olive oil. Mix together and apply to your clean face. Let it set for about 20 to 30 min. You can rinse it of with warm water but splash your face with cold water to close your pores. 


♥ For OILY skin: Moisturizing face scrub

1/2 teaspoon Baking Soda
1/2 teaspoon Lemon juice
1 tablespoon Honey

Mix all of the ingredients in a bowl and rub in circular motions all over your face for 2-3 min. Wash off and pat dry.

- Do not use more Lemon & Baking soda than needed, both these ingredients may burn your skin.


♥ For SENSITIVE skin: Yogurt & Oatmeal

1 Cup Plain Yogurt
1/2 Cup Oats

Mix together and apply to skin, Leave for 10 - 15 min. Rinse off with warm water.

- Do not rub the oats on your skin.


♥ For EXFOLIATION: Brown Sugar & Oil

1/2 Cup Brown sugar
1 Tablespoon Oil (Olive/Coconut)

Mix the brown sugar with the oil and rub on skin for 1 min. Rinse off and pat dry.

- You can use white sugar but brown sugar aren't so harsh on the skin.
